SQUARES
(Solid and Laminated)

Squares are used to make turnings, carved table and chair legs and
other similar furniture components.  We  ship to
customers throughout the United States.

Solid squares are available in most species up to 13/4 rough
(3-1/4 in. by 3-1/4 in.) and in select species up to 16/4
(4 in. by 4 in.) rough. 

Lengths range from 6 in. to about 60 in., depending on the species
 Squares larger than 3-1/2 in. by 3-1/2 in. are generally laminated.
We supply laminated squares up to 9 in. by 9.

All squares are sold kiln dried and can be shipped in the rough
or surfaced through the molder S4S and precision end
trimmed. We can also surface two adjacent sides for legs 
that are to be carved.

DOWELS
(Rounds, Rods)

Maple, Oak, Ash, Cherry and Poplar dowels are readily
available in diameters of 1-1/2 in. to 1-7/8 in., sanded
or unsanded, cut to any length. Additionally,
many of our squares in the above species may also be doweled. 
This is particularly helpful for parts that are turned full length.
Laminated rounds can be molded or turned virtually any
diameter.

For a prompt quotation, please indicate species,
length (with grain), width and thickness, whether rough
or surfacing is a requirement, and the quantity per order.

Minimum order quantities for molded squares and
rounds are usually 100 pieces per size.
